Here are some poems that I had to work with in my school. I hope you enjoy them!
My Gift
What can I give Him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd,
I'd give Him a lamb;
If I were a wise man ,
I would do my part;
But what can I give Him?
I'll give Him my heart.
-Christina Rossetti-
A Wise Old Owl
A wise old owl
lived in an oak;
the more he saw,
The less he spoke;
the less he spoke,
the less he spoke,
the more he heard.
Why can't we all
be like that bird?
- Edward Hersey Richards -
Hay Making
It was late in May,
We were making some hay.
It was hot and dry.
Just like July.

The first one is one of my favorites...did you know it's the last verse of the song "In The Bleak Mid-winter"?
The 2nd two are funny!
